Release notes for the Accordion app by Accelerator 365

These release notes provide information relating to updates and new features for the Accordion app.

UI updates: Various UI updates to align with the new style guidelines from SharePoint.
Section and title colour: This update introduces the ability to change the Accordion section title and background colours. Choose from a range of theme-dependent colours in the colour picker.
Brand fonts: This release introduces the support to use brand fonts from the SharePoint brand centre with the web part.
Note: brand fonts are currently a preview feature for Microsoft SharePoint and are subject to change.
Anchor links: This enhancement introduces anchor links for Accordion sections, enabling users to link to particular sections in the web part.
Section title editing: A minor improvement in the editing experience allowing users to edit section titles directly within the Accordion web part.
Paragraph spacing: Improvements to the rich-text editor experience for paragraph spacing. The keyboard command Shift+Enter will now perform a line break (soft return). The Enter key command remains unchanged and will continue to create a paragraph break (hard return).
Language support for Japanese.

UI updates: Various UI updates to align with the new style guidelines from SharePoint.
Hyperlink formatting: Squished a bug related to formatted hyperlinks where in edit mode the hyperlink address is missing.
Deleting sections: This update re-introduces a user experience aid presented to an editor to confirm the deletion of a section in the Accordion app.

Core update: This release updates the core Microsoft library from SPFx 1.14 to 1.18.
Product information: Added links to the Accelerator 365 knowledge base and app version information into the web part properties.
Stability and performance improvements: Numerous updates and improvements to the core functionality to improve performance and reliability following Microsoft platform updates.
Link picker: This update introduces a new link picker that replicates the link picker experience offered by SharePoint in apps such as the Text web part.
UI updates: Various UI updates to align with the new style guidelines from SharePoint.
Hyperlink formatting: Squished a theme-related bug causing hyperlinks to incorrectly format when a strong section background is applied.
Property pane: Squished a bug affecting the ‘Add new section’ and ‘Allow multiple sections to be open at a time’ settings.
Language support for French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, and Spanish.

Image and video support: This enhancement enables images and videos to be added to Accordion content via the rich text editor.

Stability and performance improvements: Numerous updates and improvements to the core functionality to improve performance.

Licensing screens: This update addresses minor labelling and styling updates to the licensing screens and dialogs.

Site sharing fix: Squished a bug related to a conflict with the Microsoft site sharing functionality.

Product branding: Updates to labels and product titles to reflect the refreshed Accelerator 365 branding.

Licensing screens: This update includes improvements to the trial licensing screens and related process.

Display of web part title: This resolves an issue with the display of the web part title in certain conditions

Initial release: The initial release of the Accordion into the SharePoint Store.
