The Back to Top app makes it easy to navigate long SharePoint pages. Users can quickly return to the top of the page, and a built-in progress indicator shows how much of the page is left to explore.

Configuring the app for the first time
To add the Back to Top app:

Select Edit on your SharePoint page.

Select + Add a new web part, then choose the Back to Top app.

Once added, the Back to Top app will automatically display the button and floating widget fully enabled and ready for customization.
Button controls
The Back to Top app includes a button that can be placed anywhere on your page. You can:

Show button - choose to show or hide the button.

Button appearance - choose from fill color, an outline, or no outline.

Label - customize the text shown on the button.

Animation - enable a depth effect on the button when users scroll through the page.

Position - align the button left, center, or right.
Floating widget controls
As well as a button, the Back to Top app also includes a floating widget.
The floating widget follows the user as they scroll down the page, allowing them to get back to the top with a click. Features include:

Show floating widget - choose to show or hide the floating widget.

Include percentage scrolled indicator - a page completion ring that appears on the widget showing how far the user has scrolled.

Position - align the floating widget to the bottom left, center, or right of the page.
