What is Gauge?

Gauge is a visual display web part that lets you present numeric data with style and interactivity. It transforms facts or figures into attention-grabbing visuals directly within your SharePoint pages.

Where can I use it?

Gauge is available for use on modern SharePoint Online pages and is fully compatible with Viva Connections, allowing you to surface the same visual experience inside Microsoft Teams.

Is Gauge responsive / mobile-friendly?

Yes. The web part automatically adjusts for optimal display on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

How do I set it up?

The setup process follows the same simple logic as other Accelerator 365 apps. After downloading the app from the SharePoint Store, add the Gauge web part to your SharePoint page, select your preferred layout, and enter your numeric values. You can define Units, a Count Label, and set Minimum and Maximum values to control how data is represented.

How many layout styles does Gauge support?

Gauge includes five visual layout options to suit different presentation needs: Gauge, Column, Dial, Doughnut, and Progress.

Can I display performance tiers or ranges?

Yes. You can visually segment the Gauge into tiers to represent different value ranges - such as “poor,” “average,” or “excellent.” This helps users quickly understand where the displayed value sits within your defined thresholds.

Can I reuse the Gauge on multiple pages/sites?

Yes. The Gauge web part can be added to any modern SharePoint Online page across your site collection. For best performance and visual clarity, avoid placing too many visual web parts on a single page.

Is there a free trial available?
