Release notes for the Image Map app by Accelerator 365

These release notes provide information relating to updates and new features for the Image Map app.

Rich text toolbar: This update integrates the bulleted and numbered list options in the rich text toolbar.

Core update: This release updates the core Microsoft library from SPFx 1.14 to 1.18.
Stability and performance improvements: Numerous updates and improvements to the core functionality to improve performance and reliability following Microsoft platform updates.
UI updates: Various UI updates to align with the new style guidelines from SharePoint.
Product information: Added links to the Accelerator 365 knowledge base and app version information into the web part properties.
Area links: Squished a bug when setting an area link to open in a new tab.
Rich text editor: Replacement for the rich text editor control and formatting improvements.
Dark theme support: Squished a bug related to text legibility on Image Map tooltips when using a dark SharePoint site theme.
Language support for French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, and Spanish.

Accessibility improvements: This feature enhances the accessibility of the Image Map, particularly in relation to screen readers.

Licensing screens: This update addresses minor labelling and styling updates to the licensing screens and dialogs.

Tooltip description: Resolved an issue when adding descriptions to an area in the Image Map in certain scenarios.

Special characters: Squished a bug when adding links with special characters.

Site sharing fix: Squished a bug related to a conflict with the Microsoft site sharing functionality.

Product branding: Updates to labels and product titles to reflect the refreshed Accelerator 365 branding.

Image picker dependency: This feature introduces a replacement for the image picker functionality to improve stability / remove a dependency on a control Microsoft are prone to update.
Licensing screens: Integration with an updated licensing engine to support a smoother trial sign-up experience.

Display of web part title: This resolves an issue with the display of the web part title in certain conditions

Take the hint: This release includes enhancements to the hint graphic displayed on images; including changing the position of the hint, updating the hint placeholder, or completely hiding the hint.

Licensing screens: Squished a bug relating to licensing new trial downloads.

Licensing screens: Minor updates made to the licensing screens and related notification messages.

Core update: This release updates the core Microsoft library from SPFx 1.11 to 1.14.
Licensing screens: Introduced new functionality to enable entering a license key when the page is in edit mode.
Image upload: Squished a bug preventing new images being uploaded.

Initial release: The initial release of the Image Map into the SharePoint Store.
