Release notes for the Launchpad app by Accelerator 365

These release notes provide information relating to updates and new features for the Launchpad app.

Icons: Added support for SVG icons in the icon library when creating links.
Search: Squished a search-related bug when the directory contained more than 100 links.
Customizing Launchpad: Resolved an issue that prevented users with apostrophes in their usernames from customizing their Launchpad.
Links and categories dialog: Squished a bug related to cancelling and exiting the create a new link/categories dialog box.

Tile appearance: This update allows editors to change the default tile appearance. Options include fill colour, outline only, or no fill and outline for all Launchpad tiles.
Custom styles: This update allows editors to apply custom styles to the Launchpad app using CSS. For more information, refer to the guidance here.
Search improvements: The search functionality now includes the ability to find links associated with a category.
Icons: New icons have been added to the icon library for use when creating links.

Core update: This release updates the core Microsoft library from SPFx 1.14 to 1.18.
Product information: Added links to the Accelerator 365 knowledge base and app version information into the web part properties.
UI updates: Various UI updates to align with the new style guidelines from SharePoint.
Mobile experience: Squished a bug related to opening links on mobile devices.
Small screen experience: This improvement optimises the experience for small screens. For screen sizes less than 1024px, Launchpad will display as it does in the mobile experience.
Brand fonts: This release introduces the support to use brand fonts from the SharePoint brand centre with the web part.
Accessibility improvements: This feature enhances the accessibility of the Launchpad web part, particularly in relation to keyboard navigation through tiles.
Language support for French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, and Spanish.

Stability and performance improvements: Numerous updates and improvements to the core functionality to improve performance.

Licensing screens: This update addresses minor labelling and styling updates to the licensing screens and dialogs.

Accessibility improvements: This feature enhances the accessibility of the Launchpad web part, particularly in relation to keyboard navigation.

Site sharing fix: Squished a bug related to a conflict with the Microsoft site sharing functionality.

Product branding: Updates to labels and product titles to reflect the refreshed Accelerator 365 branding.

UI improvement: This improvement supports displaying Launchpad in a dark SharePoint theme.
Link behaviour: Update to the opening behaviour of links from the Launchpad search bar. Links in the search bar will now open in a new tab.

Microsoft Graph: This update resolves an issue with additional Microsoft Graph API being requested by the Launchpad app.

Initial release: The initial release of the Launchpad into the SharePoint Store.
