Technical notes for the Pages Directory app by Accelerator 365

Data connections

The Pages Directory does not connect to any external data sources. The Microsoft SharePoint API is used to retrieve page data, in the context of the current user, for the selected sites.

Data storage

No data is persisted for the Pages Directory. Responses from the SharePoint API are cached for 5 minutes.

Permissions

No additional permissions are required for the Pages Directory app. Requests to the SharePoint API are made in the context of the current user.

Deployment scope

The Pages Directory app can be used on any SharePoint page, across any number of SharePoint Sites. If you would like to make the app available to all sites in the organization, select Enable this app and add it to all sites during the deployment process from the SharePoint Store.
