What is Section Search?
Section Search is a web part that allows visitors to search for content across all sections of a SharePoint page. It helps users quickly locate relevant information without manually scanning through the page.
Where can I use it?
The web part is available for modern SharePoint Online pages and is compatible with Viva Connections, allowing it to be viewed inside Microsoft Teams.
Is it responsive / mobile-friendly?
Yes. The web part automatically adjusts for desktop, tablet, and mobile displays.
Configuration
How do I set it up?
The setup process follows the same simple logic as other Accelerator 365 apps.
Add the Section Search web part to your SharePoint page. From there, you can configure the search scope, decide whether to hide sections without matches, and adjust visibility settings directly from the web part configuration panel.
Editing
How does the search scope work?
Editors can choose whether the search applies to all sections on the page or only to collapsible ones. This gives you flexibility depending on how your page is structured.
What happens to sections with no matching content?
You can choose whether to hide or display sections that contain no matches, depending on your content and layout needs.
Can I add multiple Section Search web parts to one page?
Yes. You can add multiple Section Search web parts to the same page, and each one can be configured independently.
Licensing & Trial
Is there a free trial available?
Yes. A fully functional 60-day trial is available. Learn more here.
What happens when the trial ends?
After the 60-day trial expires, the web part will stop functioning until a valid license is applied. You’ll receive instructions on how to purchase and activate a license.
